5. How to Access Information Technology Department Services
Academic and administrative staff wishing to work on central systems and connect to the Internet must first have their User Code Application Form approved by their department/unit coordinators. They should then apply to the Information Technology Department during working hours with their staff IDs to obtain their user codes and passwords. With these user codes, academic and administrative staff can send and receive emails, subscribe to electronic mailing lists and news groups, use software on central systems, connect to Karabük University's campus remotely via dial-up, access FTP services, and use all services provided by the Academic/Student Information System.
